About Dr. Anthony Nguyen, D.D.S.

Dr. Anthony Nguyen earned his  Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), graduating summa cum laude,  with highest honor, in 1990. As a result of his outstanding academic achievement, he was elected a member of Eta Kappa Nu (HKN), the international electrical and computer engineering honor society belonging to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the largest organization of technical professionals in the world.

For his distinction in scholarship, Dr. Anthony Nguyen was also selected as a member of the Tau Beta Pi Association, the oldest engineering honor society in the United States. In 1998, Dr. Anthony Nguyen received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Southern California’s School of Dentistry, which is ranked as one of the top ten dental institutions in the United States.

Since opening his private practice in Smyrna, GA in 2000, Dr. Anthony Nguyen has drawn on his engineering background to successfully integrate applied-engineering and technological innovation into his dental operations, providing unique and practical solutions in dentistry to patients every day. 

Mission Trips

Dr. Anthony Nguyen’s experiences on his mission trips have changed his views, both towards his dental practice and towards the rest of the world. He does not view his work as charity, but rather as an act of necessity.  Aiding the less fortunate is not a choice for Dr. Anthony Nguyen; it is to him an obligation to our fellow humanity.  The humanitarian ideals exemplified in his mission trips form the core of his private practice, which strives to provide dental care that is quality, affordable, and, above all, compassionate.
